The new FSU Conference Center will employ the latest technology in its conferencing rooms. The Center will be capable of hosting everything from small meetings to large regional conferences.
The Center will retain its name, honoring the late FSU Provost Gus Turnbull.
Reconstruction of the New FSU Conference Center
As construction nears completion of the Florida State Conference Center, the Academic and Professional Program Services (APPS) department is preparing to deliver the next generation of customized event solutions to Florida's capital city. By integrating the latest meeting technology, their team of meeting professionals has already begun working with clients to design event experiences with extended impact.
Host Your Next Event at the NEW FSU Conference Center
Located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Street, the site of the previous center, the 47,000 square foot facility will feature three video-walls, LCD screens, webcasting, wireless Internet, e-media services, professional event management, flexible catering options and a five-story parking garage. Meeting spaces include a 400-seat auditorium, 320-seat dining room, executive boardroom, and eight additional breakout rooms that can host from 10-100 guests.
Consistent with the department's mission of learning for life, the center is ideal for academic events, government meetings, association programs, corporate seminars and numerous other educational events.
