“I appreciated that the content was up to date and had relevant information – especially adding in the effects of Covid. I found sections on risk factors, laws (state and federal) and trends really helpful for the work I do when working with survivors.”
- Angie McIlquham, Director of Sexual Assault Victims

The Bridge to Hope, Menomonie, WI

“I really enjoyed the course. It was informative and well organized. The course covered all areas of Human Trafficking. I have worked with survivors for the past 26 years and have not seen a course offered like this. This course will truly assist me with my current position. Thank you Florida State University for providing this course. The knowledge, I have gained will truly be impactful with the survivors I assist.”
- Melba Robinson, Program Director

The Salvation Army - Haven Atlanta, Atlanta, GA

“I have been a member of a local human trafficking task force for several years. I’ve been to multiple trainings dealing with trafficking but this course was the first one to give me the in-depth training I need to really understand the needs of victims and survivors. I now know the questions to ask when discussing how to best serve victims. I believe this course gave me the information necessary to make a meaningful contribution during meetings and staffings rather than just be an observer.”
- Crystal Noble, County Manager

Department of Juvenile Justice, Greenville County, SC

“Easy to navigate with a well-rounded curriculum touching all facets of understanding human trafficking.”
- Marion Pearson, Violence Prevention Program Manager

Douglas County Human Trafficking Task Force, Roseburg, OR

“An in-depth, thought-provoking training. This certification provides substantive background, analysis and tools to help its participants understand the gravity of human trafficking exploitation. It outlines key indicators that will increase participants’ awareness about human trafficking and emphasizes the importance of trauma-informed programs for survivors. Highly recommend this certification.”
- Erin Collins, Executive Director

Florida Alliance to End Human Trafficking, Tallahassee, FL

“I am thoroughly excited about the information that I have obtained in this course. I feel better equipped going forward. I can be more diligent in my own surroundings with the applications that I have learned. There was so much more to learn about human trafficking than I already knew. This course gave insightful perspectives of trafficking from its origin to finality and the variety of trafficking that most don’t consider.”
- Amber Mockovciak, Family Division Case Manager

12th Judicial Circuit Courts, Sarasota / Manatee / DeSoto, FL
