“The course is needed for any professional working with the community and families. We all need to understand that trauma doesn’t target a specific gender or race. We all go through stress and some form of traumatic experience throughout our lives whether it is abuse or even natural disasters. Resilience is what is needed to overcome our different obstacles in life.”
- Ashley Anderson

Family Advocate Lead, ELC Flagler & Volusia, Daytona Beach, FL

“I enjoyed both the Level 1 and Level 2 certification. If you are new to the concepts of trauma and resilience or have experience in these topics, these courses offered new insights and information for expanded learning.”
- Stacie Holt, BSN, RN

Early Intervention Specialist, Root for Kids, St. George, UT

“This experience challenged me by highlighting some of the blind spots, biases, and ignorance that we all have as human beings. This coursework holds us accountable for developing best practices that will continue to support the work we do with co-victims of homicide (sudden traumatic loss). It also holds service providers accountable for managing our own trauma and resilience.”
- Teresa Avent

Director of Homicide Support Services, Victim Assistance Network, Raleigh, NC

“I had nothing short of a great experience and I highly recommend this course to anyone thinking about taking it. You will come out understanding the dynamics of trauma in all levels of life and ages and many ways to be resilient over them.”
- Kaneisha Wiggins, MBA

Human Resources Development, PITT Community College, OK

“It is nice to be able to complete the course in your own time and at your own pace. Everything is easy to navigate and the site is user friendly. The information is presented in a way that is easy to understand, up-to-date, relevant and applicable.”
- Shanna Stevens, LPC-MHSP

Clinical Therapist, Agape Child and Family Services Memphis, TN

“If you want to know what it’s really like to work in human services, understand the pivot in viewpoint from “what’s wrong with them” to “what happened to them,” AND have actual tools (not just theory) to use that WORK with future clients, put your money in these 2 courses!”
- Dr. Myra McPherson

Certified Family Trauma Professional, Speaker, Psychotherapist, Private Practice, Girls Incorporated, Sarasota Florida
