Importing a Package

Overview
Import Package allows you to load the content in an export or archive into your course site. In order for the Import Package tool to work, you must have an export or archive file saved on your computer or in the Content Collection.

Import a package using the Blackboard Control Panel:

1. Go to the correct course.
2. Select Control Panel in the course menu on the left.
3. Under Course Options select Import Package.
4. Browse and find the zip file from your previous archive or export.
5. Select the content or settings you want to load from your old site.
6. Select Submit.
7. Select Ok.
