Setting the Entry Point for the Course

Overview
You can decide what your students see first in your site by setting the Course Entry Point as long as that entry point is found in your Course Menu.

Set your Course Entry Point using the Blackboard Control Panel:

1. Go to the correct course.
2. Select Control Panel in the course menu on the left.
3. Under Course Options select Settings.
4. One of the options here should be Course Entry Point. Select that option.
5. In the Entry Point drop down menu, select the area you want your students to see when the first enter the course site. This defaults to Announcements.
6. Select Submit.
7. Select OK.
