Change your Course Site Name

Overview
If you want to change the name that displays for your course, you can do that easily.

Change the name of your course site using the Blackboard Control Panel:

1. Go to the course for which you want to change the name.
2. Select Control Panel in the course menu on the left.
3. Under Course Options, select Settings.
4. Select Course Name and Description.
5. In the Course Name box, enter the new name you want for your course site.
6. You can provide a description for the course, however this is not viewable to students.
7. You can leave Subject Area and Discipline as they are set.
8. Select Submit.
9. Select Ok.
