Add Staff Info

Overview
Staff info can allow your students to look up your office hours and contact information easily in Blackboard should they have a problem. You can also view a short video tutorial for Updating Staff Information.

Add staff info using the Blackboard Control Panel:

  1. Go to the course in which you are the instructor.
  2. Select Control Panel in the course menu on the left.
  3. Select Staff Information under Course Tools.
  4. Select + Profile.
  5. Fill out the form that appears. The one piece of information required is an e-mail address.
  6. If you wish your students to be able to access this information, make sure the Profile availability is set to Yes.
  7. Attach a small image if you wish.
  8. Select Submit.
  9. Select Ok.
