Add a Folder

Overview
One common use of Blackboard by instructors is to store important documents where their students can access them at any time.

Add a folder using the Blackboard Control Panel:

  1. Go to the course in which you wish to add your assignment.
  2. Select Control Panel in the course menu on the left.
  3. Select the content area in which you wish to place the folder (usually Course Library or Assignments).
  4. Select +Folder.
  5. Provide a name for the folder.
  6. If you wish your students to be able to see the folder, make sure that Make Content Available is set to Yes.
  7. Select Submit.
  8. Select Ok.
