Leadership in Executive and Administrative Development (L.E.A.D.) in Social Work
Certificate

The mission of this leadership certificate is to educate students about leadership theories and practices and provide students with leadership experience.  Learning about leadership will give these students the skills that they will need for middle and executive positions in social service organizations.  As in-depth curriculum that emphasizes leadership, decision-making, client-centered management, team building, negotiating, budget and finance, and the successful management of grants will guide our students in the direction of being able to successfully manage social service agencies.

  • Tuition and Fees
    • Florida resident: $370.55 per credit hour
    • Non-Florida resident: $400.61 per credit hour
    • Residing in Leon, Gadsden, or Wakulla Counties (non-campus students):
      • Florida resident: $395.75 per credit hour*
      • Non-Florida resident: $425.89 per credit hour*
      • *Add additional $20.00 per semester for mandatory Student Facilities Use Fee
  • Books
    We estimate the cost of books and course materials for an academic year to be $350.00. Students are responsible for the cost and shipping fees of all books and course materials. Contact your academic coordinator (see below) to learn which bookstore offers course materials for your degree program.
  • Financial Aid

    Six hours or more at FSU
    Degree-seeking students who are taking 6 semester hours or more may be eligible for financial aid. If you are interested in applying for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is available online on the Office of Financial Aid website. The website also provides financial aid information pertaining to the University.
