The Master of Science in Physical Education program is designed for K-12 physical education teachers who wish to expand and/or update their knowledge of physical education content and teaching skills. It is appropriate for individuals who are certified in physical education and who have been teaching physical education in a school environment. The MS degree program is designed for elementary, middle, and secondary level teachers. Many assignments will be of an applied nature to be completed with students in the K-12 school context.
Graduates of distance learning programs at Florida State University receive the same diploma and transcripts as students who graduate from traditional on-campus programs. Official transcripts do not differentiate on-line from traditional on-campus courses or degrees. Graduates are welcome to participate in commencement ceremonies.
