Management Information Systems
Master of Science

The Master of Science in MIS program is designed to enhance and update the managerial and technical skills of practicing information technology professionals. It is intended for professionals with at least three years of MIS-related work experience and is designed so that a typical student can complete the degree in 24 months by taking two online courses each semester. There are two ways to complete the program. All students will complete a set of seven core MIS courses. Students preferring a technical orientation will take one course from the online MBA curriculum and three advanced MIS courses in the areas of systems analysis, database, and telecommunications. Students should not choose the technical track if they lack fundamental skills in systems analysis, database, and telecommunications. Students preferring a managerial orientation will take four courses from the online MBA curriculum.
