Online graduate programs at the Florida State University College of Business (COB) are a core component of the university’s mission to provide superior graduate education. As globalization and technology continue to revolutionize the face and direction of business, opportunities for new leadership multiply. Our goal is to develop fresh leaders with the skills and expertise to respond creatively to new challenges; to analyze national and global business issues from different perspectives; and promote the discipline to be successful managers. The COB AACSB accredited master's degree programs have curriculum developed and taught by the same faculty who teach on campus.

Florida State University's online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program curriculum consists of 13 courses (39 credit hours) and can be completed in 28 months. The program admits in the fall, spring and summer terms.

  • The summer term begins in early May. The deadline for submission of ALL application materials for the fall online MBA program is March 1.
  • The fall term begins in late August. The deadline for submission of ALL application materials for the fall online MBA program is June 1.
  • The spring term begins in early January. The deadline for submission of ALL application materials for the spring online MBA program is October 1.

Qualified admitted student may have the option of creating their own expertise by taking graduate-level flex courses, when available, in the following fields from world-class faculty members:

  • Accounting (on campus)
  • Finance (on campus)
  • Marketing (on campus)
  • Real Estate (online)

The College of Business offers a tuition supplement to qualified online program out-of-state students that covers the out-of-state portion of tuition. These students will then be responsible for the in-state tuition rate and all applicable out-of-state fees.

Fall 2011 - Summer 2012 Program Costs

  • Tuition and Fees (includes $190 per credit hour auxiliary DL fee):
    • Florida resident: $578.44 per credit hour
    • Non-Florida resident: $1,209.84 per credit hour
    • Residing in Leon, Gadsden, or Wakulla Counties (non-campus students):
      • Florida resident: $610.78 per credit hour*
      • Non-Florida resident: $1,242.18 per credit hour*
    *Add additional $20.00 per semester for mandatory Student Facilities Use Fee
