Graduate Students, Transient
If you are a graduate student seeking a degree from a university other than FSU, you may register for a graduate-level course without going through regular application procedures, if the course is offered to transient students. Registration does not require transcripts, GRE scores, or application fees; however, tuition and fees must be paid.
To take graduate-level courses as a transient student, you must:
- Contact the FSU online degree program that is offering the course to determine if they allow non-degree seeking transient enrollment. Check with the departmental Academic Coordinator (listed at the bottom of each Graduate Programs page.)
- Obtain an approval form from your host institution.
- Have your graduate dean approve the course at FSU that you wish to take (as to whether it will be accepted for transfer).
- Submit this signed approval form to:
