We have the latest in video technology, including high-definition capture, both on-location and in-studio teleprompters, and a soundproof video recording studio. Faculty can reserve the Whisper Room, a sound proof audio recording booth, which is available for self-directed and/or engineered sound recordings. PowerPoint presentations can be narrated real-time from the Whisper Room. Also, Flash presentations can be created from those PowerPoint presentations. The final products can be burned to CD, DVD or uploaded to any server from within the Whisper Room. Faculty are encouraged to learn the ease of use of this system and reserve it as often as they'd like. Read more about adding PowerPoint presentations to course sites in Blackboard

Live and/or on-demand webcasts are possible through MediaSite Technology. Live streaming video is available to anyone anywhere with Windows and Internet Explorer via the link we provide in advance. This technology allows not only your video to stream, but in sync with any presentation (such as PowerPoint) running from your laptop. During the live stream, viewers can communicate with the lecturer by simply clicking a button on their screen and typing a question. All webcasts are immediately archived for future on-demand viewing via the same URL. Students can click the same button to send email to the lecturer.
