Writing Certificate Programs

Writing well and stating your ideas accurately help make you a more valuable employee and satisfied individual.

While each class is worthwhile on its own, you can earn a Certificate in Professional Writing from Florida State University by completing any three classes offered. Take those that interest you or best suit your needs.

These four courses also teach writing skills stressed in the Governor's Plain Language communication initiative.

Workshops are offered at the following times:

Grammar in the Workplace: each January and September
Critical Writing: each February and October
Technical Writing: each March and November
Grant Writing: each April and December
