Bethany Atkins-Rice recently joined our CFP faculty. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law, and her Master of Laws degree in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, and has been published in The Tax Lawyer.

Previously, Ms. Atkins-Rice worked at a law firm that limited its practice to estate planning. Presently, she works for the Finance and Administration Cabinet, Commonwealth of Kentucky, and concentrates her practice in the areas of both federal and state taxation.

Although Ms. Atkins-Rice is a Tallahassee native, she currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband and two young children.
