Proctored Exams for Distance-Learning Courses
The FSU Center for Assessment & Testing provides proctoring services for students required to take proctored exams. These services assure that exams are being taken with integrity and that students' understanding of the course materials is assessed accurately. Students that are required to take proctored exams are usually students in online classes who do not meet with the instructor in a formal classroom setting. FSU CAT also coordinates proctoring services for FSU students who need to take proctored exams off-site.
Distance Learning exams are classified in three categories: (1) FSU Distance Learning Exams, (2) UF Distance Learning (or Correspondence) Exams, and (3) Other Institution Distance Learning Exams. Please click on the links below for more information on policies and procedures for each type of exam.
