The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is is an aptitude assessment that aids in the selection process for college admission.
The multiple choice test covers English, math, reading and science. The math portion covers whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions and decimals, algebraic equations, percentages, and ration/proportion. Reading includes paragraph comprehension, passage comprehension, and references/conclusions. English covers knowledge of punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, contextual words, and spelling. Science covers science reasoning and knowledge, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles, and general science.

Registration must be completed through the ATI website but the test is administered at FSU on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. with the last seating at 1:30.
