Art on Campus Initiative

Art on Campus InitiativeThe Florida State Conference Center is participating in The Art on Campus Initiative which aims to increase visibility for the School of Art and Design by showcasing and promoting artworks produced by its faculty, alumni, graduate and undergraduate students among the university community, through temporary exhibitions at a variety of locations across campus. Other current exhibition locations include the Offices of the President and Provost (Westcott 211 & 212), and the Dean of Graduate Studies (Westcott 314).

Art on Campus is an initiative originally developed and implemented by Lilian Garcia-Roig, professor, Department of Art and chair of the Art of Campus Initiative and Alicia Viera, PhD candidate in Art Education/Arts Administration with the Department of Art Education in the FSU College of Visual Arts, Theare & Dance. Other contributors include Kristie Moore, PhD candidate in Arts Administration and K. Alison Schaeffler-Murphy, alumna of the Department of Art Education and Art History.
